What does “Bid” mean?

A monetary value or a price in order to purchase a listed product (auction). The starting bidding price is set by a seller (registered user on PIPDIL platform) from which value the bidding starts.

 

How can I purchase a product or win a bid?

The highest bidder (the highest price) wins a product before the auction ends (duration of the listed product to be able to bid). Once the auction end, the highest bidder will be notified and can see the auction result going to profile > auction results. The highest bidders can message the seller and discuss about the possible handover of the product and payment methods. Payment is possible with the cash at the highest bidding price at a prefixed location which is determined by the seller and the buyer.

 

 

How can I sell a product on PIPDIL?

A registered user can sell any legal product clicking “Sell now.” Uploading the product information, images, a realistic “starting bidding price” (comparable with the market value) and a brief description are enough to list a product to sell. A duration to run the auction must be set. Listed products cannot be changed or edited once posted. However, the listed product can be deleted if any mistakes are made going to “My auction” and has to be uploaded again.

 

How can I see my uploaded product?

Go to profile > manage profile > auction > my auction. Simply clicking “My auction” on the top bar will show all your listed products.

 

How can I delete my auction?

Go to profile > manage profile > auction > my auction. A delete option is show beside the listed product. Simply clicking “My auction” on the top bar will show all your listed products.

 

How can I withdraw a bid?

One cannot withdraw a bid once the bid is placed. It is recommended not to place bids unnecessarily. Please bid when you are willing to purchase the product.

 

How can a seller contact a buyer?

A seller cannot initiate a conversation with a buyer. Once the highest bidders win the bid they can contact seller by clicking “Message seller” button.

 

How can I upload product images?

click upload new > drop file, paste, or browse. Then go to select file (select the uploaded images one after another) > add files. The images will be uploaded on the system. Do the same for thumbnail images to ensure a best cover image for your product will be shown to the potential buyers.

 

How can I delete all the uploaded images?

Go to Profile > Manage Profile > Uploaded Files to delete all the uploaded images on your profile.

 

How can I protect myself from Frauds?

If you run an auction or win an auction, contact the user (seller/buyer), and justify their authenticity. Once you are completely sure, complete the transactions. PIPDIL is not responsible for delivering any product or receiving any payment.

 

How do I report a scammer?

Contact us via the “contact us” button to let us know the incidence. We will keep an eye on the User and if proved we will take an action (e.g., suspension, permanent ban).
